Programs

The New Territory Adult Basketball Leagues are for participants ages 40 and up and consist of an 8-game regular season followed by single-elimination playoffs. Each team automatically qualifies for the playoffs, unless they are removed from the League due to non-payment of the registration fee, breaking the Code of Conduct, etc. There will be one game per week (exceptions could be for any reschedules). Games are played on Sunday’s at the Club (1200 Walker School Road, Sugar Land, TX 77479). This League does not have practices.

All members of a respective team must wear the same jersey top color and each jersey must have a whole number (not more than two digits) on the front or back that is different from each other (i.e. no two players can have the same jersey number and numbers cannot be drawn or taped on). If a team does not have jerseys for a game, they will need to be rented from The Club, and it will cost $10 per team per instance. It is recommended that the team jerseys are reversable.
Participants should bring their own balls to games to shoot around. New Territory will provide a “game ball”. Closed-toe athletic shoes are required for all games; basketball shoes are recommended. Jewelry (watches, necklaces, rings, earrings, nose rings, bracelets, etc.) is not allowed for games (exceptions are religious items, medical items, or glasses). Mouth guards are recommended.

Emails will go out to the Team Captains noting the rulebook, policies and procedures, and game schedules the week before the first scheduled games. If an odd number of teams register, it could result in a different team having a bye each week. Registration is as a team, not individually. Any changes will be communicated to the Team Captains.
